Styled & Refind

There’s a difference between simply documenting a session and directing it.

When I photograph a couple, I’m not just capturing what’s in front of me—I’m shaping it. Every movement, every pause, every detail is considered. The goal is to create something that feels effortless, but is deeply intentional.

I guide my couples into poses that feel natural, but photograph with structure. A hand placed with purpose. A step taken slowly. A glance that lingers just a second longer. It’s not stiff, and it’s not overly posed—it lives somewhere in between. That’s where the magic is.

What makes a session feel editorial isn’t just the location—it’s how it’s seen.

Even in places that are photographed over and over again, I’m always looking for what’s unexpected. The way light falls across a shoulder. The texture of fabric against skin. Subtle movement. Small, often overlooked details become the foundation of the image.

I’m drawn to contrast—refined styling paired with real connection. Clean composition layered with emotion. It’s not about choosing between editorial and intimate, but blending both seamlessly.

I also lean into the unconventional. Shooting through objects, incorporating foreground elements, embracing blur, grain, or motion—these choices create images that feel different. Not for the sake of being different, but because they feel honest and artful.

No two sessions should look the same, even if they happen in the same place.

Because it’s never just about the location.

It’s about how it feels.

And how it’s seen.
